TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
